HOW TO CREATE SURFACE IN AUTOCAD CIVIL 3D

 CREATE SURFACE IN AUTOCAD CIVIL 3D

            With the Help of Surface option in AutoCAD Civil 3D, We Can Create the Contour Lines, Show Elevation of the Area, and We Can Calculate the Earthwork Quantity with help of Surface Option use in AutoCAD Civil 3D. 

Follow the Steps Described Below.

i.                     Surface (Main Toolbar)

ii.                   Create Surface

iii.                 Name (x.y.z any name)

iv.                 Ok

v.                   Modify (Main Menu)

vi.                 Surface

vii.                Add Data

viii.              Point Files

ix.                  Select Source file (CSV we already saved)

x.                   PENZD (Comma Delimited)

xi.                  Ok (Surface and Contour will be appeared around our data or points)

xii.                Select the whole drawing data or contour and Right Click

xiii.              Edit Surface style (In drop down menu)

xiv.              Layers can be ON/OFF from here

xv.                Click at Contour

xvi.              Contour interval (+)

xvii.             Minor Interval value (0.50, 1, 2, 3 etc.)

xviii.           Apply and OK

xix.              Then Re Select the Drawing, Contour, or Data

xx.                Click at ADD Labels (Top Lift Side in main toolbars)

xxi.              Contour Multiple at Interval

xxii.             Draw cross line at the drawing, contour, or data at different places (Levels or  

              Elevation will be appeared at contour at those places which are touch our cross  

              line.

xxiii.           OK
