HOW TO USE FIELD COMMAND OR OPTION IN AUTOCAD


FIELD COMMAND:

Field option or command is a very useful and powerful option using in AutoCAD to Save the time and complete your work in less time.

It is a very useful and important command specially for Road Cross Section which we are Manually draw or plot in AutoCAD.

To execute this command, follow the steps described below:

 

1.    Type FIELD in Command Line of AutoCAD to Execute the Command.



2.    From the Field Category Select ALL.



3.    From the Field Name Select FILENAME (You Can Choose from the Slide Bar).



4.    Check Mark File Name Only available at the Right Side of the Table.



5.    Un Check Display File Extension Option.



6.    Click at OK Button available at bottom of the table.



7.    Click at the Location where you want to place your file name.
